Daybreak Health is a teletherapy startup that offers mental health services to children and adolescents. Their website, daybreakhealth.com, serves as their primary means of acquiring new clients and connecting with existing ones. This case study will describe how we redesigned their website to better reflect their brand, improve their user experience, and increase conversion rates.
As a Solo Web designer and Webflow Developer for this project, I worked closely with Daybreak Health's CEO, marketing team and the Sutro Design team to gather requirements and define the project scope. I was responsible for designing the website layout, creating wireframes and prototypes, and overseeing the visual design process. Additionally, I developed the website on Webflow and ensured that the design was implemented correctly with the CMS setup in a way that it is easy to use for the Daybreak team.
Before the redesign, Daybreak Health's website was outdated and did not effectively communicate the company's value proposition. The user experience was confusing and did not make it easy for visitors to find the information they needed. The website lacked clear calls to action, which led to low conversion rates and missed opportunities for new business.
Our design process began with a discovery phase, during which we conducted stakeholder interviews and user research to identify pain points and areas for improvement. We then created wireframes and prototypes to test our assumptions and gather feedback from stakeholders and users. Once we had a solid understanding of what was needed, we began the visual design process, which included creating a new color palette, typography, and imagery.
The new website design we created for Daybreak Health is clean, modern, and easy to navigate. The site features a bold color palette of blue and green that evokes feelings of calmness and positivity. We made sure that the user experience was optimized for both mobile and desktop devices, with clear calls to action that make it easy for visitors to schedule appointments and learn more about the company's services. We also created a custom icon set that helps to visually communicate the company's key differentiators.
After the new website was launched, Daybreak Health saw a significant increase in traffic and a boost in conversion rates. The new design made it easier for visitors to understand the company's value proposition and to take action. Additionally, Daybreak Health received positive feedback from both existing and new clients, who found the website to be professional, easy to use, and visually appealing.
