House of Co is a European-based company that specializes in providing beautifully designed co-living spaces. Their website, houseofco.eu, serves as the primary platform for their online presence, showcasing their vision, mission, and values. This case study will describe how we designed their website to improve the user experience, increase online engagement, and better showcase their brand values.
As the lead web designer for this project, I worked closely with the House of Co team to gather requirements and define the project scope. I was responsible for designing the website layout, creating wireframes and prototypes, and overseeing the visual design process. Additionally, I collaborated with the development team to ensure that the design was implemented correctly.
Before the redesign, House of Co's website did not effectively communicate their brand values or showcase their co-living spaces. The user experience was confusing, and visitors found it challenging to understand the benefits of co-living and the unique features of House of Co's spaces. The website lacked clear calls to action, which led to low engagement rates and missed opportunities for online reservations.
Our design process began with a discovery phase, during which we conducted stakeholder interviews and user research to identify pain points and areas for improvement. We then created wireframes and prototypes to test our assumptions and gather feedback from stakeholders and users. Once we had a solid understanding of what was needed, we began the visual design process, which focused on showcasing the benefits of co-living and the unique features of House of Co's spaces.
