Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami, known in English as Inter Miami CF or simply Inter Miami, is an American professional soccer club based in the Miami metropolitan area. Founded in 2018, the club began to play in Major League Soccer in the 2020 season at DRV PNK Stadium, the site of the former Lockhart Stadium. The club is owned by a group of investors that includes soccer legend David Beckham, and their mission is to unite the city through the sport of soccer.
Inter Miami entering professional soccer in 2020 wanted to engage with its fans and wanted an application for mobile that would complement its Fan XP platform.
As a UI/UX Designer for Inter Miami CF, my role was to create a user-friendly and engaging mobile application that met the needs of soccer fans. I worked closely with the development team and other stakeholders to ensure that the app aligned with the team's brand and mission, and provided a consistent user experience across all touchpoints.
My responsibilities included:

Ticketing
Purchase tickets for every Inter Miami CF home match in 2020, transfer or sell your tickets to others, and access your tickets through your Ticketmaster account. Login with your Ticketmaster account, access your tickets and enjoy a simple, paperless experience at the stadium gates.
Live Streams
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Inter Miami CF games were halted after the first game in 2020. With the possibility of games resuming without fans, we saw an opportunity to develop the Live Stream feature. This feature allowed fans to watch games in real-time from the comfort and safety of their own homes.
The Live Stream feature became a huge success, especially during the pandemic, and allowed fans to stay connected with the team and their favorite players even when they couldn't be at the stadium in person.

After extensive research and development, the Inter Miami CF app was launched on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in February 2020, ahead of the club's first game in Major League Soccer.
Since the launch, the app has undergone several updates, with new features added based on user feedback. The club continues to invest in the app's development to provide fans with the best possible experience and keep them engaged with the team throughout the season.
